Beaches Pet Resort & Training Center offers its clients a smaller boutique facility. We set the standard in the Industry by providing the highest quality of service, the cleanest environment, and that specialized one-on-one care that can only be provided in a smaller facility. We pride ourselves on service and our top concern is for the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of all the pets in our care.

Our many services include Boarding, Day Socialization (Daycare), Obedience and Behavior Training (Classes, Day Train & Pawsitive Enrichment programs, Board & Train, as well as In-Home Training), Grooming, and Chiropractic Care by Advanced Animal Chiropractic - Dr. Christina Cole. We also offer In-Home pet care by - A Pets Pal, providing pet care in your home since 1995 in the Grosse Pointe and St. Clair Shores areas. If you have a pet care need, we can help!

Beaches was designed from your pet's point of view, with their safety and well-being as our top priority. The facility is designed not for our convenience or ease, but for the best care for your pet. Our state-of-the-art overnight Bungalows, Day Socialization Cabanas, specialized flooring, and our smaller play yards cater to all pets. Dog play is structured and managed by our trained Lifeguards and Canine Coaches.

We provide all dogs with a safe area to rest and have a water break in between play. We have no community water bowls- all dogs drink from their stainless bowls, which are sanitized each evening for the next day's Beach Goers.

We also play “naked” here at the facility,  which means no collars or harnesses left on dogs during play. These items can be dangerous during play and can lead to injury.

Our Lifeguards and Canine Coaches are trained in Off-Leash Dog Play, Canine Body Language and Dog Behavior.

We specialize in dogs, but can also provide an unsurpassed care for all of your family members, including cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc.
